Our intro offer is $69 for 30 days of unlimited classes. If you’re new to the studio it’s our best value pass, allowing you to attend as many classes as you like during the 30 days. Purchase your intro offer online or in the Shala when you attend your first class.

No, you’re intro offer pass will activate automatically on the date of the first class you book.
Please note, there are strictly NO suspensions/extensions on the intro pass. We recommend that you start your intro offer pass at a time when you know you’ll get the most value out of your 30 days.

Yes! We highly recommend that you book ahead to secure your place. Walk-ins are welcome, but only subject to availability. We use Mindbody for bookings, so you’ll need to set up an account in order to book and pay for your classes with us. If you have any difficulties booking online and can't resolve your issue via the FAQs, please contact us for help.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to join any of our classes, as they are open level. However, we do recommend starting with our Begin class, dedicated to beginners. You can also join our Slow Flow, Yin, Yin Yang, Flow and Hot Yoga classes. If it’s your first time, let your teacher know when you arrive and do the best that you can. Go at your own pace, look around the room to see what others are doing, listen intently and take breaks when you need to. It’s always daunting when you begin something new, but after just a few classes you’ll start to get the hang of things. We’re here to help you on your yoga journey! You may also like to book a private yoga class for personal guidance and a deeper understanding of alignment, modifications, breath and the foundation poses.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before class to allow plenty of time for you to chat to your teacher, get familiar with the Shala and set up for class. If you haven’t purchased your intro offer online, we’ll also need to complete your registration and take your payment. Please note, if you sign up in person, we cannot guarantee you’ll then be able to attend that same class as some classes get booked out. For that reason, we highly recommend you buy your intro offer online, so you can book into your first class without stress.

Our reception opens 15 minutes prior to the start of each class. Please ensure you are always ready to go, set up and on your mat a few minutes prior to class so we can start on time.

We have a strict no late entry policy. Once the doors are locked, the doors are locked. We will not open the door. Please do not bang on it and disturb the class. This is out of respect for the teacher and fellow yogis. Please make a conscious effort to be set up and on your mat a few minutes before class starts. This means allowing plenty of time for you to travel to the Shala, park and arrive without rushing.

If you’ve booked a class and need to cancel, you must do so via Mindbody. We cannot process cancellations via the phone or email. If you book a class and fail to cancel within the 2 hour window or do not attend the booked class, you’ll be charged a late cancellation / no show fee. Cancellation fees are equal to the value of the pass being used to pay for the class, or in the case of Unlimited members, a fee of $15 will be charged to your account.

Absolutely. Everyone needs to sign in with the teacher before entering the Shala. Failing to do so, may result in your attendance not being recorded, and being charged a ‘No Show’ fee.

Our Heated Classes refer to the heat in their title, either ‘Hot Yoga’ or ‘Flow Heat’. All other classes are Non Heated. Our Heated classes are usually at 6am and 5.30pm. We keep most 9.30am classes Non Heated. We adjust the number of Heated and Non Heated classes, depending on the season.

Hot Yoga is our hottest class, and can get to about 38 degrees. Flow Heat can get to around 32 degrees. The heat can feel different depending on the number of people in the room and the humidity factor. Practicing yoga in a heated room simulates the naturally warm and humid environment of India, where yoga comes from. On a physical level, a heated room increases your blood circulation, which then warms your muscles and encourages the body to open up more safely. We love heated classes. Make sure you stay hydrated before and after class.

If you’re attending one of our more active classes, we recommend you wear light, breathable clothing that is easy to move and sweat in. For practices such as Yin or Meditation, wear something extra comfortable and warm such as a jumper and socks, especially as we enter the cooler months.

If you own your own yoga mat, we recommend you bring it for hygienic purposes. We do have yoga mats available in the studio to use, as well as some mats for sale. You may also like to bring a water bottle and towel, especially for our Heated Classes. We have a filtered water station, but you’ll need your own bottle. For our Yin classes, you might like to bring a blanket to keep you extra cosy and warm.

We have a bathroom, toilet and change room. Unfortunately we don’t currently have a shower.

Yes, we have some yoga mats available in the Shala that you can borrow complimentary. Please ensure you wipe down your mat after use with the provided mat cleaner, and put it away.

Yes, we have bolsters, blocks, straps and weights. Please ensure you wipe down any props you use and put them away.

Yes, we have a small store in reception with some yoga mats available for you to purchase during Shala opening hours.

You can find Shala Yoga down the Marlston Hill end of Victoria Street at 3/2b Victoria Street, Bunbury. We are just a few doors down from Market Eating house, on the other side of the road.

Yes, there is free street parking and paid parking at the Ommaney Street carpark behind the studio on Brewery Lane. If the free street parking is full, there’s an empty block of land on the corner of Wollaston Street and Casuarina Drive that you can park on for free.

Yes, we were! And we’re still the only place in Bunbury who shares Hot Yoga classes and Heated classes. In July, 2022 we changed ownership and underwent a rebrand, but we still have the same great teachers and dedicated students, sharing the practice together from the same location!

In the first instance, we recommend that you try deleting the app, and then reinstalling it. This usually fixes any glitches in the system. If you have a Shala Annual+ or 6 Month+ Membership, Mindbody won’t always allow you to book ahead of the day that your next payment comes out, until that payment is received. If this is the case, and you would like to book ahead, you can ask your teacher at reception to book you into that class up to two weeks in advance. Your booking will come up ‘unpaid’ until the payment is received. You’ll then be able to manage that booking. If you can no longer attend, please make sure you cancel the booking within the 2 hour timeframe to avoid a no show fee of $15.

Make sure you are logged into Mindbody using the same email address that you used to buy your pass. If you are still having problems, email us and we will investigate the issue for you.

No, your Shala Class Pass will activate automatically on the date of the first class you book. This means if you book your first class to activate your Shala Class Pass on the 3rd and then try to book a class on the 1st, you will not be able to use your Shala Class Pass and will be asked to pay. Instead, you can always cancel your class on the 3rd, and then book your class on the 1st and then rebook your class on the 3rd.

Please be patient. You’ll be informed via your preferred Mindbody communication channel(s) (such as email and/or text message) if you’ve been added to the class. We recommend that you check throughout the day. If you no longer want to be on the waitlist, please take yourself off. We rely on our students being kind and compassionate with one another by cancelling any booking they can’t make in a timely manner, that way, we can let other students who are eager to come (like you!), join the class.

Yes. Please always cancel any class you can’t attend, so another person who may be on the waitlist can take your place instead.

Yes, even if you missed the 2 hour window, you still need to cancel so we know not to expect you, but more importantly, so another person who is on the waitlist and eager to join, can come to class. Thanks for being kind and compassionate to our yoga community.

You won’t lose your pass if you cancel at least 2 hours before class in Mindbody. The pass will be credited to your account for later use. If you cancel within 2 hours of class, you will lose your pass, as per our Late Cancellation policy.

If you don’t receive our Monthly newsletters, you’ll need to update your Mindbody subscriptions and opt in to receive our marketing material via email. If you are having problems doing this, please email us and we can update your subscription on your behalf.

Please email us with your requested dates. We have strict rules regarding suspensions and suspension periods. Make yourself familiar with our suspension policy regarding your membership before contacting us. Find our T&Cs here. We require a minimum of 7 days notice to action your request.

You can cancel your Annual+ Unlimited Autopay membership after 12 months. You can cancel your 6 Month+ Unlimited Autopay membership after 6 months. Please email us with your requested termination date. We have strict rules regarding membership cancellations. Make yourself familiar with our cancellation policy regarding your membership before contacting us. Find our T&Cs here. We require a minimum of 7 days notice to action your request. A $140 cancellation fee (equating to one month’s membership) applies to both our ‘Annual+ Shala and FIFO Shala Memberships’ should you wish to terminate your membership before a 12 month period. A $74 cancellation fee (equating to two weeks membership) applies to both our ‘6 Month+ Shala and FIFO Shala Memberships’ should you wish to terminate your membership before a 6 month period.

No. We offer large discounts on our Upfront memberships for paying in advance, and do not offer refunds if you change your mind.

Yes. If you’re a concession card holder or student with a valid student card, we offer a 15% discount on our Memberships and Passes. Not available to purchase online. Please email us with what Membership or Pass you’d like to purchase and share a photo of your card, or make your purchase in the Shala before class.

Yes, we have FIFO options for both our Annual+ and 6 Month+ Shala Unlimited Memberships, giving you unlimited classes for one fortnight only each month. The Monthly autopay membership is $75.83 per month*, with a 12 month minimum membership for Annual+ and $80.16 per month*, with a 6 month minimum membership for 6 Month+. Please email us with what Membership you’d like to purchase and share a photo of your work schedule, or make your purchase in the Shala before class. * proof of work schedule required.

Yes, any payment made using a credit card will incur an additional processing fee. Payments made using Visa / MasterCard will incur an additional 2.70% fee and payments made using AMEX will incur an additional $4.4% fee.

Whilst we use Social Media channels for promotion, any communications regarding bookings, services, memberships, suspensions and cancellations must be received via email or using the appropriate form found on our website. Social media interactions are for general communications/comments only. We cannot guarantee that we will see any message you send via social media in a timely manner.
